Rover Maritime has finished the prototype developed in the frame of ReSHEALience project that has been manufactured at Universitat Politécnica de València.
This prototype represents a part of a floating platform for offshore wind turbines and is based on ultra high durability concrete. The prototype has to be transported to Sagunto Port where it will be placed in port basin sea water for marine exposure. For stability and accessibility reasons, to locate the pilot in the real exposure conditions at sea, the arm of the prototype will be anchored to a vertical dock wall,
During two years different durability parameters related to concrete behaviour will be monitored by means of sensors embedded in the elements of the prototype and in situ measurements (prototype will be accesible from the dock and available to get in for inspections).
